His arbitration practice often involves cases seated outside of Hong Kong. He acts as both counsel and arbitrator internationally - typically in cases regarding investments and projects in CIS, SEA, or MENA countries.
Before joining the Bar, Wing had a legal academic career conducting research and teaching around the world including at Oxford, Moscow, Kazan, Beijing, and Hong Kong. He has been appointed as a foreign legal expert by the PRC Ministry of Science & Technology since 2019.
He remains an adjunct professor at various universities around the world, and is a co-editor of Friston on Costs (4th edn OUP 2023).
