Nick has an extensive commercial law, maritime law, and arbitration practice. Nick is a former solicitor and he is user friendly.

Nick has experience in contractual disputes, banking and finance law, commercial fraud and international arbitration (with a focus on maritime law and international sale of goods). His expertise includes:

 

• Cross-jurisdictional commercial disputes, including applications relating to forum challenges and anti-suit injunctions, and applications to enforce foreign judgments.
   

• Claims relating to financial obligations and enforcement of securities.

 

• Court proceedings with respect to international arbitrations, including applications to set aside or enforce arbitral awards.

 

• Maritime, transport and international trade law, including disputes about cargo claims, shipping collisions, and ship sale & purchase.

 

• Nick has appeared in trials of admiralty actions, and in numerous arbitrations concerning charterparty disputes. He has also handled applications for judicial sale of ships and distribution of proceeds of sale.
