Jack joined Resolution Chambers in January 2024. He now maintains a diverse mixed practice, focusing on family law and general civil litigation.
His family law practice encompasses the full ambit of ancillary relief, from application of maintenance pending suit to enforcement proceedings, as well as variation applications. He also represents parents in disputes concerning children, including applications for relocation and surrogacy. Additionally, he has experience in matters involving vulnerable adults who lack the mental capacity to manage their financial affairs, in applications pursuant to Part II of the Mental Health Ordinance and obtaining approvals for settlements pursuant to Order 80.
In his part-time role as a Judicial Associate at the Court of Appeal, Jack supports Justices of Appeal by preparing bench memoranda and conducting legal research across the spectrum of civil jurisdiction.
Since 2021, Jack has co-edited the Sentencing chapter of Archbold Hong Kong alongside Mr. Grenville Cross KC SC and is presently co-authoring the third edition of Road Traffic Offences in Hong Kong with Mr. Osmond Lam. Since 2019, he has served as a Lecturer (Non-clinical) at the University of Hong Kong.
Jack is qualified to accept instructions from legally aided clients in most civil disputes.
