Andrew is highly regarded in the fields of Chancery and commercial litigation. He has full practising rights at both the Hong Kong and English Bars, and is qualified as a solicitor of England and Wales. He is an associate member of 5 Stone Buildings in London.

Andrew has extensive experience of disputes - often with a cross-border or international element – involving art, crypto, fiduciary duties, international succession, pensions, property, and trusts.

​

His matters frequently involve high and ultra-high-net-worth individuals. He is currently instructed in the high-profile Lo Family Trust dispute. He regularly appears in courts and tribunals at all levels, including the Court of Appeal and Court of Final Appeal, notably having acted for the successful appellant in Kan Lai Kwan v Poon Lok To Otto and HSBC International Trustee Ltd (2014) 17 HKCFAR 414 and for the successful appellant in Lo Kai Shui v HSBC International Trustee Ltd and Others [2023] HKCA 983.

Andrew is a full member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) and a member of the Institute of Art and Law (IAL). He is a Fellow of both the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators & the Hong Kong Institute of Arbitrators.

He is a native English speaker and is fluent in Putonghua (and can read and write simplified characters).

Andrew has published widely in peer-reviewed journals such as Trusts & Trustees and the Law Quarterly Review.
