Samuel Y. C. Leung

Samuel Leung is a trilingual counsel able to conduct hearings in Cantonese, Mandarin and English. He is also able to draft in Chinese (traditional and simplified) and English. He brings strong financial skills to his cases having previously worked as an auditor at Deloitte.
He was a Judicial Assistant at the Hong Kong Court of Final Appeal where he conducted research, analysed points of law and assisted with the drafting of legal opinions for judges. He also writes for peer-reviewed academic journals. One of his articles (on the law of trusts) has been cited in Snell’s Equity.
He was awarded the Charles Ching Memorial Scholarship by the Hong Kong Bar Association.
Samuel is developing a broad civil and criminal practice. He appears as a sole advocate in the Hong Kong courts. He is familiar with arbitration. He accepts instructions in all areas of work but has a particular interest in commercial, fraud, matrimonial, property and personal injuries matters.
