Aria Cheung is a newly called tri-lingual counsel who accepts instructions in a broad range of civil, family and criminal matters. She is able to conduct cases in English, Cantonese and Mandarin. She reads and writes both traditional and simplified Chinese.
She is developing her practice focusing on family and matrimonial disputes, general civil and commercial disputes (both in litigation and in arbitration), injunctive reliefs, and general crime. Aria has recently worked in matters on children's relocation, custody and access, and assisted in the drafting of arbitral awards and procedural orders. She has a particular interest in and welcomes instructions on family matters, mediations (general and family), and commercial arbitrations.
She has acted as a mediation advocacy coach, and is also a HKIAC qualified Tribunal Secretary. She is listed on the HKIAC website to take appointments as an arbitral tribunal secretary and is familiar with procedural matters and handling of arbitrations through her time at the HKIAC.
